Latest Update Corrupting Task List ***RESOLVED*** (Duplicate; Old Task Reappear)

WIth the latest update, my task list are corrupted. Specifically, when I look at the number of task in a folder in GoodTask and compare this with the number of task in Exchange in the same folder, they do not match up.

When I go to look, it appears there are several task in GoodTask that were previously marked as deleted and purged on Outlook but somehow are still in the GoodTask folder. If I mark those task as complete, they will reappear in the Outlook folder and I can purge them again. However, this is problematic since in some cases we are talking about 50 - 100 tasks in a folder.

Turns out the problem was with Reminders in general. Here are the steps to correct if you have this problem.

  1. Go to iCloud and turn off sync for GoodTask & Reminders
  2. Go to your Exchange Account on the iPhone Setting and Turn off Reminders
  3. Go to your Exchange Account on the iPhone Setting and Turn Reminders back on
  4. Go to iCloud and turn on sync for GoodTask & Reminders
