I saw another thread about a Goodtask memory lead in the Ventura Beta.

I'm also getting this with GoodTask on my MacBook running Monterey 12.4. Memory starts at 1GB and is up to 3 within about 30 seconds. Eventually it gets to over 20GB and I get the 'out of application memory' message and have to quit it. Running GoodTask 7.1.1 (999).

Thanks for the feedback.

  1. Does this happen all the time even after restarting the device?
  2. If so, would you try changing option ‘Preferences - General - Future recurring tasks’ to Hide and see if it goes?

  2. Tried this; quit GoodTask and started it again. Yay! Fairly steady at 130-140MB
  3. Nothing much to share now really, as your suggestion fixed the problem!

This appears to be the problem in iOS 16 and Ventura.

Turn it off and it’s fine.
