Is there anyway to make a smart list, to show all today tasks from list X & Y, excluding Z, but only show Z tasks if it’s overdue? Basically, I want to exclude list Z with bunch of task from my smart list, but I want to see overdue tasks from list Z

Since lists selected in Smart List is set for all the filters, it's not possible to make a list like you've mentioned.
