Where is the Favorites "Smart Button" on macOS?

I swear it used to be there at least as recently as a year or two ago. I just noticed that it disappeared and I can't find where it went to. I realize you can click on that itsy bitsy, vaugely recognizable icon in the lower left but that requires so much more time to use. I don't know about you but I use Favorties ALL THE TIME.

The option to enable it is on the Favorites preference screen itself for iOS.

Can someone point me in the right direction, or was this feature inexplicably removed at some point for the desktop version??

Wait, you keep saying "I'll make note of that" or "Maybe when I do a next thing"..... but surely GoodTask cannot be a one-man show. That would be truly incredible.
