Why don't voice recordings sync with Mac

I love the new audio recording feature for iOS. I wish it was also available to make recordings from the Mac - that's my main device. But at least the recordings made on an iOS device should be available to listen to from within the Mac app. Is there something not working for me with this or is this not possible? I can add attachments to my Mac app by I don't see any of the recordings made on iOS.

Normally all the attachments including audio recordings should be synced and can be accessed on Mac app.

Do you see attachments at all or does it not play?

I'm aware that there are some bugs on macOS which ruins the sync system that GoodTask relies on. If you're experiencing attachments saving on different folders inside 'iCloud Drive / GoodTask / Attachments' for same tasks, you need to do below action.

  • Close GoodTask / Reminders app
  • Go into System Preferences - iCloud
  • Check off Reminders
  • Turn it back on
  • Open Reminders app and wait until all data gets re-downloaded
  • Open GoodTask

After this, all attachments added on iOS device should sync and be in proper tasks.

I've submitted bug report to Apple so I hope they fix it soon.
