I used to have a setting where the icon next to the task in the large widget would be a line, but now it changed to a circle and I can’t find the option to switch it back to a line.
Is there any way it can be done? I felt like that way looked way better

The option follows the settings inside the app's 'Settings - Appearance - Icon' at the bottom. If you select 'Hide', it'll show as line in the widget and also the app.
In the app, you can complete the task by long tapping or inside the task on that case.
