Alerts not carried over to next occurrence of repeating tasks

Hi,
At some point during recent updates of the app, alerts on repeating tasks stopped carrying over to the next task in the series.

Previously, if a task had an alert, completing it would apply the alarm to the next occurrence of the repeating task. This is no longer the case - the alarm now stays only on the first task of the series. Please look into this and fix it. I really hope this is not an intentional change to how repeating tasks work, because it makes them useless if I have to manually set the alarm for the next occurrence every time I tick off the current one.

Thanks for using GoodTask. Normally it should carry over. Would you send me details to contact@hahaint.com including screenshots for 1. The task detail, 2. settings - General, 3. Settings - New task page? Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, of course. I have just sent the screenshots to your email.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

Thanks for the details. While investigating, I checked that 'Multiple alerts' update with some new task settings could have cause this behavior. I'll update the app to fix the issue. But for the tasks that already came by, you need to update the alert to same day with the due date if it has already passed by and is set to previous date. Using 'Relative Date' should make it work well without the update. Thanks!
