Appearance of links

Hello,

I often use links to websites, for example to planned orders. It would be really great if this could be done more conveniently in GoodTask. Currently, the complete (long) path still appears in the Notes field, which takes up a lot of space. In addition, there is also the display of the “button” for the link below the note. Again, this takes up a lot of space.

Would it be possible to integrate an adjustable option that ensures that only one of the two display forms of a link is shown? This would make lists/boards appear much tidier.

For example, would it be possible for link paths to be automatically removed from the Notes fields after GoodTask has created a button?

Thanks a lot! I really enjoy using GoodTask!

Hi @just , thanks for the feedback. I'll keep it on the list to consider. Thanks!

Here is a spontaneous suggestion on this topic:

If links are copied into the note field of a task, could they be automatically converted to markdown links?
As a link title, there could be a standard placeholder text such as "Link"...?

This would make the appearance of lists that contain many tasks with links immediately appear clearer and encourage focused work.

What do you think?
Thanks and best,

Since Markdown is handled by its engine, it’s difficult to modify itself. I’ll keep your feedback. Thanks!
