Automatic assignment of tag with new task?

I am in the trial mode of GT because I’m looking for a way to organize my tasks under a project/focus area (i.e., a List) using a basic KanBan approach, which for me is: Backlog->ToDo->Doing->Done

To achieve this, I’d like to see all new Reminders assigned the tag #backlog automatically. If there is a way to do this, I’m not finding it. Is there?

Hi @tim.rohrer, thanks for using GoodTask.

If you make a new 'Inbox' Smart list for example, you can set up text filter with '#backlog' on that list. After doing it, adding a new task on that smart list will add the tag. (If not, check Settings - New Task - Contextual: Smart List)
