I’ve added 4 automation tasks on my iPhone:
Type: Templates (Due Date: The day - all 4 at different times of the day)
Repeat: Every Day
After midnight 4 tasks are created, 2 on the day as expected, but the other 2 a day later…

Also if you have edited the template after it's selected on Automation, you should make the automation again. When you make an automation, it copies current template and the changes you make later will not be set on that automation. Thanks!
I think I resolved the issue:
Before activating the Automations I had created daily repeating tasks for this, so when the Automations were launched there was apparently some kind of ‘conflict’ with exactly the same tasks already existing…
I deleted the repeating tasks and now it works normally.
However, Templates don’t support Attachments or Location so its use is slightly more limited…
