I’ve added 4 automation tasks on my iPhone:
Type: Templates (Due Date: The day - all 4 at different times of the day)
Repeat: Every Day
After midnight 4 tasks are created, 2 on the day as expected, but the other 2 a day later…

Also if you have edited the template after it's selected on Automation, you should make the automation again. When you make an automation, it copies current template and the changes you make later will not be set on that automation. Thanks!
