Is it possible to permanently disable the Recent Searches list? I do not want a history of my searches to be created as a smart list.
I tried deleting the Recent Searches header, but when I search again it is recreated.

Would you try deleting it again? Normally removing the header should prevent adding the search results. Thanks!

I tried again, from my iPhone this time, and it worked. It wasn't working from the macOS app but it also is now after a restart.
