Goals.json file issue

What I expected: Made changes to Goals (Goals.json file) on my Mac and expected to see those changes when Goals was opened on my iPad. The files appear to be syncing properly.

What I observed: The Goals are different between my Mac and iPad.

What I did: I made changes to the Goals on my Mac. When I opened Goals on my iPad after the sync, the information was different. It was incomplete with only data from several years ago. I verified the files were syncing in Apple iCloud, and verified the same situation existed with the old data on my iPad. Next I copied the goals.json file from my Mac to the iPad and deleted the old json file on my iPad. The result were the same.

How can I get and keep these two files in sync?

Thanks for the feedback.

Normally when you open goals page, it'll load the local data. And then, it'll look for synced data. If sync process is not completed, it'll keep on checking while the page is opened. You may want to open Files app on iPad and see if iCloud Drive is syncing properly.

If not, check if you have enough storage on iCloud and device, restart the device and check the app agin.
