GoodTask v8.3.1 is live.

Widget Improvements

  • Custom Modes are available for List Widgets and Board Widget. You can customize custom modes inside app’s Settings - Widget page. After that, you can choose them inside each widget’s Widget settings > Mode.

    • Custom Modes Settings:

      • Title: 1 Line / 3 Lines / All

      • Notes: None / 1 Line / 3 Lines/ All

        • Notes Line Break (On / Off)

      • Subtasks: None / 1 / 3 / All

      • Date: Bottom / Right / Hide

      • Date Type:

        • Default
        • Relative date (i.e. in X days)

      • Weekday (On / Off)

      • Weekday only for next 7 days (On / Off)

      • List name: (On / Off)

      • Tags: Show / Hide

      • Hide Priority Icons

      • Hide URL Link Buttons

  • Section Header option available for List Medium and Large Widgets in Widget settings. It will follow the list’s Sort option like it’s shown inside the app.

  • Hide All-Day Events option available for List and Board Widgets in Widget settings

  • Rectangular List Lock Screen widget: Time is shown on the right side for today’s item. If you want previous mode with only the title, you can select ‘Title Only’ mode

  • Next Widget gets 2 additional Widget settings

    • Title: 1 Line / Max
    • Open: Open List / Next Page

  • Time will show as 9 AM rather than 9:00 AM

  • Task: Action can now be set per widget (List, Board, Next) inside Widget settings. Default will follow settings inside Settings > Widget

  • Other improvements and fixes

  • If the options are not visible/updated, please re-add the widget
