Hidden Calendar Events in Watch App

I have a calendar that I do not have selected in the iOS app, and when looking at the iOS app the events from that calendar are not show.

However, on the watch, events from that calendar are shown.

My end preference would be to no show any calendar events on the watch, even if I show them in the iOS app, but at the very least I shouldn't see events from hidden calendars on the watch, right?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the watch app and the iOS app is up to date.

Is there a setting I am missing (which is very possible since I am still very new to GoodTask)?

Hi @dev88, thanks for using GoodTask.

On the watch, you can select a list and a view on the left page. Try swiping and change the list to see how it goes. It should mirror the view and settings from the phone. Thanks!

I did this several times and that did not fix the problem. I ended up turning all calendars off for the "Today" smart list because if I had any calendar events at all they would always show on the watch complication above any tasks.

I can kinda understand why this is - most of my tasks do not have a due time, only a date, so sorting would put anything with a time (such as a calendar event) above all of the "un-timed" tasks I guess. However, this made the watch unusable when there were any calendar events, so I had to disable them from the view.

I have a same/similar problem.

I have multiple calendars. Certain calendars I want to see side by side with my tasks. Other calendars (e.g. birthdays, my wife's schedule etc.) I do not want to see side by side with my tasks. On the phone /Mac. I went to Settings -> Lists & Calendars -> Calendars and turned off the checkmarks of the calendars that I would like to hide.

But I still see all the calendars on my watch, even though I already hid them on my phone/Mac. And I don't see a way to hide them in the watch app.

Hi @DandyLyons, thanks for the feedback. Normally calendar status should sync through Apple Watch from iPhone.

You may try changing some options inside 'Settings - Apple Watch' which will force sync the data to the watch.

Thanks!
