How to specify a date for a reminder

When creating a new quick task (Command + N), I can't seem to figure out how to specify a future date for a reminder to be due that isn't something like "next wednesday" or "tomorrow".

For example, "return library book on 12/1/2023 doesn't autopopulate the date.

Is there some method to make this happen?

One of the reasons I got Goodtask was to speed up adding tasks, but if I have to pick up my mouse and pick a date it's not a lot faster.

Hi Jacob, thanks for using GoodTask.

You can choose which method you want to use inside 'Settings - New Task - Text snippets'. Default would be something such as 10/28 to set a date. You can also use quick actions to adjust afterwards if needed.

So I think what I was missing was the keyword "Due".

When I Do Due it do what I want it to...
