New icons for macOS (Goodtask v6.8.2)

I've updated to Goodtask v6.8.2 this morning and love the look of the new macOS icons as they match the new iOS icons.

I have Goodtask permanently sitting in my dock as a replacement to Reminders.

Unfortunately, when I close down Goodtask, the default icon comes back. When I open Goodtask again, the selected alternative icon re-appears.

Is this intended or just an issue restricted by macOS?

Thanks for the feedback. It’s macOS limitation which works on dock only while the app is running. Thanks!

You can refer to below post to change icons everywhere but downside of that is that it gets reset after an update. Also it's a bit of a burden to change. I recommend using the new way but if you want to change it everywhere, you may want to combine with below method too. Thanks!
