I am using GoodTask to track business relate tasks, their daily progress (through the extensive use of notes) and am sharing the list with a colleague.
Is it possible to send a notification / update when a task has been updated so that my colleague can easily update himself (and vice versa) on the daily activities. Or, better yet, generate and send a summary report at the end of the day / specified time?
Should this not currently be possible, can it be added to the "consideration list"?
Since GoodTask relies on Reminders as the data backend, there isn't that much that it can do by itself on sharing side. Shared Reminders list shows same as other lists in GoodTask and Apple doesn't give any specific data about whether it's shared or not.
You may try making a task with notification on shared list and get notified on both side but I'm not sure if it's reliable enough.
Agree that alerts and notifications are basically the same but was wondering whether there is / was / will be a way to send to those on who are sharing a list that a task has been updated (i.e., a change notification) (i.e., as Dropbox does).
I woudl think this would be a desirable feature to keep everyone current.
