I enabled the "completed date follows due date" option, but when I press the complete button, the task still shows up as completed on the day I actually marked it, not the original due date.
Also, for recurring tasks, if I forget to complete a previous instance, future instances don't appear. For example, if I have a daily recurring task and forget to check it off yesterday, it doesn't show up today.
Could you let me know if this is expected behavior or if there's a way to change these settings?
Would you try restarting the app and try again? (Try running Settings - Advanced - Delete local cache files too.)
Normally completed date should be same with due date if you have the option checked.
About recurring tasks, since it runs with the same rules on Reminders, next one is made upon the rule so if you complete the task today, next one will be made for tomorrow regardless of the previous due date.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, all the completed tasks are clustered on specific dates. These are recurring daily tasks, so ideally, I should see them listed every day, regardless of when I actually press the “complete” button.
What I want is: even if I complete a task late, it should still appear on the day it was originally scheduled for, not on the day I clicked “complete.” I’ve already cleared the cache as suggested, but the issue still persists.
Could you please check this and let me know if there's a fix?
