I mainly purchased GoodTask because of its integration with Apple reminders and the kanban-style function text tag view.
I quite like this function, however I do not really need all columns available in the text tag view. As a matter of fact many unused columns take up so much space on my screen that I cannot see the columns I actually use at once, which is not so nice for quickly getting an overview. Is there a possibility to delete let's say the #Home column etc.?

You can manually set tags that you want to use globally or per list.
If it’s set to automatic, it’ll fetch from Quick actions and Smart list filters. You can remove the ones you don’t use and it’ll be gone.
For tag boards, you can set it to hide empty boards too inside Settings - General - Board view.
