Repeat Tasks Issue
Last time we mentioned that repeating tasks can't be stacked on top of "unfinished" tasks to really make them repeatable, I found out that the reason for this is that your task system is based on Apple's Reminders? Reminders itself doesn't support overlapping tasks (unless they are actually completed before a new task is launched).
Then there is currently an app : sorted3 that does this, they separate the tasks from the reminders of the Apple system. Isn't it because of this that they have achieved true duplicate tasks (unfinished can also be cumulative. (can be overlapped)? This would also have the advantage of preventing Apple's "Reminders" from taking up space in the notifications.

Each app has its own decision. GoodTask follows rule from Reminders app since it is where it started from.

As you said recurring tasks proceed based on the rule you set and the next one is made when you complete the task.

You can use 'Future recurring tasks' option to see when the next one will be made if you complete it now.
