Today’s schedule and overdue shows medium pri tasks scheduled for today. Yet in the default ten scheduled tasks list (i changed it from five to ten but that’s the only change), lo pri tasks from today are consistently favored over higher priority tasks from today. I like the ten scheduled tasks list because it makes the list less overwhelming. And I’m okay with it showing lopri tasks. But i need to to show hipri and medpri tasks before it lets lopris appear. Any suggestions?
Hi @Robbie, thanks for the feedback.
Currently when you limit the number of tasks using 'count' option, it cuts the tasks according to due date only. It doesn't read priority or any other factors so if you have many tasks with same due date, it could randomly be cut.
I'll keep your feedback on the list to consider. Meanwhile, you may add another OR filter with high priority to add them manually if it exists.
Thanks!
Thank you for the reply. The randomness of the count function is good to know and i can see some interesting possibilities that stem from that
I have tried using the priority filter as suggested, and the tasks do get added to the list. My problem there though is that then the list expands to beyond 10 items
You may need to know that randomness does not mean that it shows different tasks each time. Actually it’ll probably show the same ones if nothing has changed.
Thanks!
