The toggle just doesn't change anything. Mine is stuck on the "Hide" mode.

Thanks for the feedback. Normally checking it should show past events / completed tasks. Would you check settings > Advanced > Always Show Past Events? If that option is checked, it'll show you past events. Thanks!
