Sluggish GoodTask App Performance

GoodTask has been responding very sluggishly for me since I started using it again recently. I have a MacBook Pro M1 Max with maxed-out RAM, so I don't think it's a CPU issue.

Just about any task that I perform in GoodTask is taking 1.5 to 3 seconds to perform. Simple drag and drops cause the pinwheel to appear for half to one second. When I used GoodTask in the past I was able to move pretty quickly without noticing any lag, whereas now I am obviously having to wait before taking a next action.

Is there anything I can do to ensure the underlying data, caches, etc are optimized for performance?
Are there common things that result in slowness? Do I have too many tags? Do I use board view too much? Is there anything along those lines I need to take into consideration?

I feel like the iPad Pro (M4) app is a bit sluggish too, but I mostly work on the Mac so I'm not as confident speaking to the iPad app performance.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Thanks for the feedback.

Currently Iā€™m looking into this issue and will try to improve it on next update.

Meanwhile, if you have lists with many completed tasks, try checking them off in Settings - Lists & Calendars and use new ones and see how it goes.

Thanks!
