Sort by tag works for list view but not board view

Hi,
For a particular list, I have sort set up by tag. This works when viewing the list in list view, so I think I have it setup correctly.

But when I switch to board view it's sorted by due date.

Thoughts on what I'm missing?

Hi Joe, thanks for the feedback. Board view has 4 types which can be changed with the button at the bottom. On 'Date' type, you'll see boards with dates. Inside each date, it should be sorted by tag if needed. You may check 'Tag' type if you want to see tasks separated with tags.

Thank you for your reply. I should have been more specific. I'm trying to get this working on the macOS app. I did look on my phone and it works as you described. But on macOS I don't see the same controls as on iOS.

Would you let me know what you're missing? Changing views are on top on macOS. On Lists view, it shows 'List/Day/Week/Month' and on board view, 'Date/Priority/List/Tag'. These can be selected with CMD-1,2,3,4. Thanks!

I figured it out! The window was sized narrow enough that the Date/Priority/List/Tag buttons were not displayed.

With the window wider, they reappear.
