A query or two ref Tags.....

  1. I've a number of Tags which I've assigned to various Smart Lists. When I add a new task from within the Smart list and go into Tags not all those tags are there for me to choose, typically the #IT tag has to be newly added. Once it has been added and the task os saved it does show up under the existent #IT tag in the list. The question is how can I create a master set of tags that I can use within all Smart lists?
  2. Can you please consider the option to select a tag as part of the new task defaults?

  1. You can go into Settings - Sort, Tags - Tags to manage tags that's used globally. Choosing 'Automatic' should work well if you add tags frequently. If you use fixed ones only, manual use could be an option.
  • 'Settings - New Task - Contextual Smart List' option should add tags automatically if that smart list has tag filter.

Thanks, I'll give these a try, I know 'Automatic' didn't work when I tried it earlier.
