Is there a way to sort the list of tags you can choose from in the pop-up window. I use tags extensively and it seems they cannot automatically sort alphabetically. I have to manually do this every time a tag is added

Tags are sorted as they're added in manual order. You can drag to re-order inside Settings > Sort, Tags page. I'll keep your feedback on the list to consider. Thanks!
