Since the new Mac/iOS updates and Goodtask (8.1.4). I am having trouble with tasks resetting their due dates. For example, I will create a task that is due today, then change the due date to a different date in the future, yet the next day, the task shows up again in my Today with the due date set to today. This also happens if I create a task for a date and trigger the Quick Action for "Prompt +Days" and add say 5 days. The quick action runs and changes the due date, yet the next day it shows back up in my Today with the due date changed to today.
I use both the Mac app and iOS app. Any suggestions?
Hi @gammonmark , thanks for using GoodTask.
Would you check if you have 'Automation' set inside the app? Also I recommend checking other apps/services that runs on your Reminders database.
Normally if the task's due date has changed and fixed (you can also check in Reminders app to see if it's properly saved), it shouldn't change to other date by itself.
Let me know how it went. Thanks!
Automation appears to be the issue, though strangely I had not turned any automations on that I know of, one was checked and seems to have been what was causing the date changes.
Thanks for the suggestion!
