Tasks created on Apple Watch, not showing up on iPhone

  1. iPhone 13 running IOS 18.0. Apple Watch 10 running watchOS 11. GoodTask 7.8.2.

  2. Recently purchased new Apple Watch 10 and updated my iPhone to iOS 18.0. I have paired my Apple Watch with my iPhone successfully.

  3. When I create a task in GoodTask on my Apple Watch, it doesn’t not show up in GoodTask on my iPhone. I can see the newly created task on my Apple Watch GoodTask. With the older series watch and operating systems, it seamlessly allowed me to create a task on the watch which synced with my phone.

  4. I have restarted both devices, paired my watch with the phone again, deleted/reinstalled GoodTask on both watch and phone, and insured that Sync with iCloud is turned on in my settings.

Help…

Thanks for the feedback.

It seems like it's not reliably working like before. I'll check and will see if it can be improved.

Thanks!

I’ve been testing it and while it didn’t work reliably at first, it seems to be working well now. Would you give it some time and see how it goes?

Since watchOS is not getting enough attention to be improved for 3rd party apps, GoodTask still needs to communicate with iPhone app when there is a change made in the watch app. I hope this can be improved so watch apps can work better. :sob:

Thanks!
