In Today Page preferences, I have turned off 'Add today's newly added tasks', however if I create a new task outside the Today Page, but with no date, it gets added to that page anyway. Is this a bug?

Normally if you have the option on, new tasks with today’s due date gets added automatically. If you have it off, it won’t.
New tasks with no due date should not get added either way unless you add it on today page.
