Hi,
I have a template for daily tasks that I add to my Today page each morning. I set all the tasks to due "the day" and some have an alert set. However, if I don't complete those tasks on that day when I start the today page the next morning it includes 2 of the 4 tasks in the "overdue tasks from yesterday" whilst the other 2 remain in the list of overdue reminders. Is this a bug?
Also, is there a better way to deal with overdue tasks from templates? Right now it appears that if you have some tasks from a template that you didn't complete so are now overdue and add the template again you end up with duplicates of the overdue ones that need deleting.
Thanks
Salaine
Hi @SalaineMorn, thanks for the feedback.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Normally if you have 4 tasks and complete 2 only, as you start the process next day, it'll ask if you want to move overdue tasks to today.

There is no direct way to remove duplicates if you do not delete or complete existing tasks. I'll give it a thought. If you have any ideas, feel free to tell me anytime.
Thanks!
Thanks for the response, much appreciated.
In regards to 1, this morning the today workflow correctly picked up all the tasks, which is what I expected should have happened previously. I'm now unsure if I found some really odd edge case or whether I need to pay more attention on a morning! If it happens again (and it isn't user error of course) I'll be sure to send some logs through etc.
For 2. I would find the ideal to be some sort of tag added to each task of a template (perhaps "temp_<templateid/name>" or something). Then when adding the template again, any existing tasks with that tag could be identified as possible duplicates and the user asked which to keep (with option to keep both). I'm really not sure how complicated that actually would be to implement or what other users would think of it.
Thanks again!
