Hello. I had GoodTask set up so that undated tasks were not showing in my calendar view. But every once in a while, without changing any settings, these undated tasks start showing up in calendar view again. I can get rid of them by editing each list one at a time to set undated tasks to "list only," but this only fixes the problem from the date of the reset onward. Undated tasks are still showing on my calendar view in the past. When I toggle on "Hide undated tasks with completed tasks" in my calendar view settings, that does hide them, but it also hides my past events, which I don't want to do. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it? I'm sure I've got some setting wrong but I can't figure out what it is.
Hi @goodbyelizajane , thanks for using GoodTask.
I don’t understand that undated tasks are showing in the past.
On each list settings that you can set with ‘Edit List’, you can choose where Undated Tasks are shown. You can remove Calendar view to show or hide them on today’s date.
If settings are not saving, try Settings - Advanced - Delete local cache files and check again.
If it’s not what you mean, please share screenshots to contact@hahaint.com with details.
Thanks!
I think I have figured it out. It was completed tasks that were showing up in the calendar view when I did not want them to - and since they were undated, they were showing up on the dates I completed them. I must have accidentally toggled show/hide completed button on the calendar view. When I toggled it back off again, my previous calendar events also disappeared because I did not have "Always show past events" checked under advanced settings. I have sorted that now.
Thank you for responding.
