What's new in v 7.3 - Links to Apple Mail und Apple Notices

Hi, after updating to 7.3 I was promoted that GoodTaks now supports links to Apple Mail and Apple Notices better.

Is there a description
... "how to" using these links
... what exactly has improved (I already used links to Apple Notices for a while)

Ah, I see: That's a way to create a new task out of a note. This is not, what I need.

I want to link a note to an existing task. Up to now, I am using the share ... link function of notes and past the link into the notes field of the task.

I do not think, there's a similar function in Apple Mails, is it?

Adding a task that’s linked to a mail is similar to notes.

There are no way to share a message from Apple Mail and link it to task.
Could you please give us a hint - how to create new task with link to particular message in Apple Mail on MacOS or iOS?

Hi @Vsubb,

You can select text in Mail app and choose Share and select Reminders app to make a task with a link.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of how it can be done at the moment. There is no direct way to make a link. You need to make a new task to bring up the link. Thanks!

Hi @just , you can make a new task with a link. If you’re asking for making a link and adding on an existing task, it’s not possible on my side. It’s something Apple should work on. :disappointed_relieved: Thanks!
