Yesterday I added the automation for setting overdue tasks to today. It stated it was planned for today, but nothing happened today?
What triggers it? Opening the app on the next day? Midnight? Something else?
Can you force the automation to run?

Normally it runs at the initial run after midnight if it’s planned to run. When it runs, small capsule will show up at the top.
Make sure you have it turned on and it’s checked.
Currently there is no direct way to force run the automation.
If it’s correctly set but doesn’t run, please let me know with more details if possible. (Automation screenshot, etc)

Thanks for the reply. Attached are screenshots. It says planned for may 17th, but yesterday it said planned for may 16th...

It seems fine. Normally it should work if overdue tasks are on selected list. Check if your selected Quick action is set properly, and overdue tasks are in the selected list at that moment. If the list you've selected is a smart list with today filter, overdue tasks may not be in the list when the automation runs.
