Widgets - possible update?

Is there the possibility to update widgets so that you can scroll within them in order to access items in longer lists? Thank you!

I've seen other widgets that have a down or up button next to them that EFFECTIVELY scrolls (I think it's a workaround, but it achieves the purpose.)

Widgetsmith for example does this ...
