Year View -

I just create a list with no reminders lists and no calendars so I could have a vanilla year view to look at.

Even though it has no lists or calendars it still greys out days. Clicking on the day to expand shows nothing on that day.

I’m wondering if it is including the birthdays calendar even though I have chosen it and excluded it from the app in settings.

Hi @IanT , thanks for the feedback. If it's about the weekend highlight color, it normally adds the holidays calendar to it to highlight. You can set it up inside Settings > General > Calendar Events. You can remove the highlighting completely in Settings > Appearance > Highlight Weekend if you prefer it that way. Thanks!

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I went into calendar events and set birthday calendar to none and they do disappear.

However that seems wrong. In the actual smart list I have set it to no calendars but you’re saying because of the general setting it overrides that? That doesn’t seem right.

Not sure why the general setting is needed as birthdays are always in a calendar whether it is the system one or a self defined one which you can then choose by list.

Thx

Ian

I think there is some misunderstanding. It’s holidays calendar, not birthday calendar so it should just highlight days you rest as like weekends. Hope it made sense. Thanks!

Ok. Thanks.

So I should set the General setting to none as I use the app ‘Occasions’ to create my holidays and birthdays calendar.

Got it!

Thx.
